At St. Philip The Apostle, we as a parish community, realize that we are part of a larger community and so desire to assist and contribute in any way we can. Our community outreach is activated in two main areas: our Rosary Apostolate and our efforts in helping the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Our community outreach by no means is limited to the above mentioned areas. As a parish community, we strive to "love our neighbor as ourselves." People come to our church for a variety of reasons: they have just moved into the neighborhood and want to join our parish, due to a crisis, the loss of a spouse, relative or dear friend, loneliness, God has called them to conversion, the feeling of being lost and many more. It is important for us that all who come to our parish are made feel welcome and are encouraged by our example to join us in bettering our community.
